About the principal
Auger & Spade is led by Ryan Hodges, Ph.D., a soil scientist with extensive experience in soil classification, soil morphology, and soil-landscape interpretation.
Ryan combines field- and data-based soil investigation with modern geospatial analysis to better understand soil variability across landscapes. His work applies fundamental soil science to practical questions involving land use, management, development, and research.
